I've been looking for a large tactical Kukri for a while so when I came across this one I thought it would be a great fit. I also really like the Tops brand for the most part. The stuff they make that "everyone else" makes is poorly overpriced, but the unique items seem to warrant the higher price: case-in-point - the El Chete. I have that knife and it's unique and awesome which is why I thought I'd go for the Bestia. Unfortunately I feel as though the two are too similar, and El Chete is just a way better blade. Also, the Bestia didn't stay secure in the sheath it came in which is a serious safety issue noting how extremely sharp the knife arrives. So literally; the knife came in the mail, I opened it up, and in less than 5 min I started the return process. So take it from someone who's been through both the Bestia and the El Chete: I strongly suggest you pass on the Bestia and go for the Chete for around $30 more. It's totally worth it. I really like the Bestia, but it's overpriced in comparison to other Tops products and especially in comparison to the Chete. I'd still buy a Bestia if it were like around $120, but ship ain't gonna sail lol. Hope this helps.
