Very sharp, sturdy, flips out quickly. Easy to retract. Rubber ergonomic handle carried the most comfortable knife I've ever held in my hand. Almost like having a switchblade. Really sharp, three different types of cutting edges. There's also Cutting Edge for cutting through a seatbelt, and a pinpoint piece of metal on the end opposite end of the blade for breaking windows for a safety Escape out of a vehicle. Great for camping, fishing and just general cutting boxes and string rope and all kinds of stuff. Highly recommend. There's also a nice clip on the side that is sturdy that you can clip to a belt or anyting for quick Grab & Go.I was tempted to give it five stars, but that would mean it is perfect and might be misleading. I have seen complaints that it is not rugged enough, but I do not think a folding knife should be used as a pry iron and it seems rugged enough to me. I have been carrying mine for a couple of months now and I think it is very good. With a little practice the opening system works well. I think it was very much designed for a right handed person, and would seem not to be useable left handed. I am right handed, but experimented with left hand use. I soon found this is not a problem. It is very easy to use work the latch with the middle finger instead of the thumb as is done right handed. The notches on the blade for opening and closing it also make for good and very controlled cutting grips. The knife came very sharp and seems durable. I try to use the non-serrated part of the blade on a regular basis, saving the serrations for when they are needed. Sharpening a serrated blade is never anywhere near as easy as it is with a smooth blade. The only exception I know was a very odd swiss army knife I once had with simple serrations on a flat ground blade. I developed an efficient way to sharpen that, but I am quite sure it would not work on this hollow ground blade. To me the bottle opener on the handle is sort of a gimmick, but it does not much harm and could be use a lanyard loop. In comparing it with other knives, it is, in one way, less versatile. It must be carried point down. The bottle opener makes it impossible to move the clip to the other end.For a little over three years I've owned the 770 Flashpoint model by Buck Knives.I thought I might be missing something special as the Redpoint model seems to be quite popular in comparison as a cheaper knife. To be really forthcoming about it...I wasn't crazy about the Redpoint. Here's what I didn't like about the knife...*A little bit of vertical play if you grab the slot in the blade and pull/wiggle.My 3 year old flashpoint and the back-up in it's box are completely free of any blade play. That kind of worries me with your thumb really bearing down on that spine jimping but so far hasn't folded on me.*Accessing the blade isn't hard as it incorporates Safe Spin design and SUR Lock mechanism as the Flashpoint by Buck. The rubbing noise though on deployment never goes away and oil won't take it away. It's the sound of the blade base rubbing the plastic...you can't fix that.*The lever to disengage the blade lock isn't quite as generous or as easily accessible as the Flashpoint model*This sounds kind of silly because these Chinese models of course don't advertise having the Edge 2X geometry...but I've seen a few China and Taiwan(a long time ago) made Buck knives that came remarkably close enough and yes the Flashpoint being one of these. The Redpoint doesn't sport a lousy edge by any means but it's more comparable to a Sanrenmu knife blade-decent but not Buck.*Back when I bought this Redpoint knife, spring just kicked in and I really took to the rubber coating on the plastic scales.Unfortunately this stuff isn't TPR (Thermo Plastic Rubber) and my hand perspiration and the heat softened this rubber to leaving a sticky residue on my hand.Never left the handle either so the semi soft sticky rubber scales now grab my pocket liner when taking it out.The argument between the Redpoint's rubber or the Flashpoint's aluminum scales come down to which ergonomics feel best. The Buck 750 Redpoint knife is by no means a useless pocket knife.Buy the 770 Flashpoint though and you'll see why it costs more.I owned this knife for 2 years, and kept it in my pocket almost every day. It's a great all-around utility knife for the price. I originally paid a little more at a Cabella's than it is now listed for on Amazon. I put this knife down many times in the grass, sand, snow, and other random places and only found it because of the yellow handle. I also used the bottle opener feature very often, so it was a bonus having that on the knife. If you don't need the bottle opener, it can also be used to clip to a carabiner or put a fob on the end of it. I used this knife for everything from cutting food and rope, to fishing and doing things around the camp. It's fairly slim, you can keep it clipped in your pocket and still have room for your hand and other things like a phone to slide in and out.The reason I lost this knife is because I carried it so often that I accidentally walked into a courthouse with it on one day and they snagged it, wooops. I almost opted to buy the Buck 110 folder due to the great reviews and rating, but I really like having this clipped in my pocket vs. in a sheath on my belt, so I bought this again.Pros:Locks closed and open for safetySafe spin locker is pretty awesome and super easy to open and close with one handFlat and serrated edges provide more utilityCons:Picks up food, dirt in the cavityNeeds to be oiled and cleaned frequentlyoggi mi è stato consegnato questo buck 750 ad apertura facilitata debbo dire che meno male il modello acquistato da me era usato e costava 28 eur e non 50eur come quello nuovo perche penso che massimo possa valere da mie conoscenze in merito a coltellerie 30 eur. naturalmente questo fa parte di una linea economica infatti non costruito in u.s.a. mah speriamo che la mitica buck di questi oggetti ne faccia arrivare pochi io a casa ho il 110 -103-119-120-124-184 -192-403-902-650-e quindi sono abituato ad una altra storia questo era una curiosità, diciamo per me puo andare mah a 28 eur !!!!!Das Messer verschenkt wenig Klingenlänge am Klingenansatz, weshalb es trotz seiner Klingenlänge von 7 Zentimetern sehr brauchbar ist.
