I bought one of these for a previous camper I owned. When I sold that camper - I bought another one. This works great for holding & organizing knives.I normally don't leave reviews for Amazon, simply because their reviews aren't believable. This is an American company that makes items mostly for RVs and Campers, but I used this knife safe in my "vintage kitchen" that just doesn't have a lot of storage space.Pros:The dimensions fit nicely on the interior cabinet door.It's super easy to install with an electric screw driver.It fits nearly all of my sharp kitchen knives.It makes it easy to view and grab the appropriate knife for the job.It seems very sturdy.Makes the kitchen safer because one isn't digging through a knife drawer.Cons:It could use to extra screws on each end to secure the knifes on the end, but I don't see if failing.It won't hold a butcher cleaver and the sizes of the slots aren't equal to the knives that I have. The slots aren't a perfect fit, but all of my culinary knives are German or French. Maybe that's why?It only comes in one color, that I could find. Black is fine with me, though.They could change the configuration of the slots to accommodate larger knives.I wish they sold more types of these, but I can't find any additional ones.I found this because I was looking for knife safes because I had lost a knife sleeve for one of my very sharp "Made In" knives. This is better.I'll buy a second one if needed.Love it for reducing clutter in drawers but the knives will shift and move during transport depending on how you install it. However, I seem to remember someone saying there are two slots for big knives … not true. Only one but still, a great small kitchen aid. Thanks !This is the perfect knife storage for using in our travel trailer. One drawback is the provided stick on tape. It's not sturdy enough for my knifes. Found some other to use and it worked great. I do recommend this for useful storage of knives. Its not fancy but it works.I purchased this for our travel trailer. I have very little storage in our trailer, so anything I can buy to help organize things is great! Plus I have little kids. So I hung this up high and now they are safe from my knifes and I don't have to worry about it, peace of mind. Plus I was nervous having knifes just laying in the drawer in case someone reached in quick to grab something and got cut. So I decided to purchase this.It arrived quickly and was packaged great.It comes with two options for hanging it, it comes with screws or command strips. I didn't want to put holes in my trailer cabinet so we choose to hang them with the command strips. It's very secure with the strips and doesn't move at all. I have had four heavier knifes in there for a while now. And it hasn't moved at all. The knifes don't move around either. They are very secure.I am super happy with it. I might purchase two more to hang in my house so I can get my knife block off the counter. Woohoo, more counter space.If you have an RV, this is great!This works at keeping our knives out of reach from our toddler in our camper. We have never had a knife fall out in transport. There’s slots for a variety of knife sizes which is great however to be clear gravity is the only thing that holds your knives in place. When I ordered this I thought there was something holding the knives in but there is not.Installed this knife holder into the door of my tent trailer cabinet for safe and snug knife travel and convenient access. The holder is simple and not fancy, but it does the job and I appreciated the mounting options and that all the hardware was included! I installed it with the adhesive and it's working like a charm. Would recommend this to those who like functional and practical trailer hacks. The other advantage with my cabinet is the lock on my door. I have small kids so the knifes are up, and locked. I'm pleased.I trashed it within a week it's hard to deal with and it's kind of ugly On the wallI have a season trailer but wanted to free up counter space by getting rid of my butchers block. I purchased this and went and bought a heavy sided tape to mount it to my fridge. Works perfect!Love this product. Lack of space in trailer drawers so this keeps the sharp knives out of harms way and easy to access. Installed on my cupboard where the plates are. Included a picture but is sideways.
