Well I will be honest I didn't think that it would work straight out of the gate but I was proven wrong I took a knife that I spent maybe $5 on I'm not gonna say which big Box store I got it from but let's just say there's a lot of blue in there logo with like a yellow star tight thing but in case I got it I swiped it about 3 or 4 times and I'm impressed honestly thoroughly impressed I haven't done it to my katana yet but Ind it was a learning curve I get that but so far so good honestly
