Let me save you some aggravation...use your existing screws....not the new ones. The new ones don't even fit into the screw holders. Also...including a small tool instead of having to use the smallest Allen wrench in the world would've been nice, I'd gladly pay an extra dollar or two just for that. The screws should be larger since the belt clip is kind of an important component...oiCame with little rubber bushings and no instructions as to where they go.I rather like this metal belt loop bracket. It works great with my Becker Necker (BK 11) The sheath that comes with the BK11 has no way to attach to a belt or anything else, though you could make something out of bank line, 550 cord, or any other cordage with the rivet holes that are around the sheath. but this nice metal attachment works quite well.I especially like the metal plate that catches the backside of the belt so that it can't just come off the belt easily. It's essentially a reversed clip at the bottom that does make it a little harder to get the clip off the belt at the end of the day but it also helps to make sure you wont be loosing your knife because the sheath wasn't able to hold to your belt. A simple but very effective design choice on this clip.Give all these nice things and the fact that it attaches with ease make it a great item but the attachment hardware is lacking a little bit, in my opinion. They provide you with thin screws to go into the Chicago type screws that they provide. Seems like they should put a broader head screw in the kit so that it will not seem like it's going through the hole. Granted they do mount kind of flush and leave it smooth to a degree. I did take a fine file to the reversed clip to make it a little smoother and not able to scratch up my belts as it did at first. So overall, it's pretty good but I think it's quality could be a little better quality.Awesome little clip for the money. It’s sturdy, seems extremely durable (according to the manufacturer it’s made of Aus-8 steel) and is tight enough to hold without ripping your fingernails off when you need to remove it.There are about half a dozen reviews on her whining about the bit size needed for installing this...not sure what kind of “knife nerd” doesn’t have that bit but I’m fairly certain even non knife nerds have a leatherman. The bit needed here is on the bit kit they sell for their multi tools that most of us already own lol. It’s an awesome piece of kit, I’m using it on a boot right now and it’s solid.Great clip, easy mounting, only issue is it doesn’t come with a T6 tool which is an odd tool to have lying around. This TDI clip may perform its intended function but it has several drawbacks. I set up the clip facing out for an IWB carry but the same issues apply for outward carry--instead of the clip getting caught up, the knife gets caught up and/or you have the added "benefit" of the clip jabbing you in the waist.1. The thing is not compact in any way. It would benefit greatly from a revision making it thinner, primarily from the aspect of how the steel clip is bent.2. Aside from making it bulky, the mid-belt bend of the steel clip forces the bottom edge out if you wear a belt having any thickness, such as a gun belt, web belt, LE belt, etc. When it's out there suspended in the atmosphere, it's easily caught on anything you pass by. Good luck keeping this knife on your belt all day and not getting jammed up on something or scraping the paint off your car.3. The bend at the bottom is flared so dramatically that it only compounds the issue in #2 above. On a positive note, the spring steel is stout and seems heat-treated. On a negative note, there is no rebending this thing outside a machine shop. You might bend it in a vice, but I would probably mangle it.4. There were no instructions included on how to assemble the clip. There is more than one way to attach the screws. At least one way is better than the others.5. The screws are easily stripped out. Be careful.6. If you install this TDI clip on the BK-11, the knife loses its slim profile that makes it a good neck knife. To alternate wear between the neck and the belt, you would need a slimmer clip or a second knife (one with the clip, one without). It has potential, but it needs redone. This product works well and can be removed easily with the right tools. If you set an a car and it’s on your hip after sometime in the middle will start to open up but you can easily re bend it back. The description says the clip will fit w/ any Ka Bar TDI--it will not. The clip is an excellent product, and its ill-fit is no fault of Blade HQ but probably Ka Bar's specificatons. NBrilliant belt clip but doesn't come with a torx bit to fit it. The bolts are so tiny I had to buy a torx set for mobile phone repairs to fit.If it came with a small torx key this would be a five star product all day long. This Clip is the perfect solution for my needs! Will not fit full size Ka-Bar sheaths well. Will not hold very well to the belt. I would not recommend, unless you're using it for a Becker Necker or some such.Clip works perfectly, been wearing it for awhile. I put the screws through the clip then put the rubber washers between the clip and the sheath itself. The clip was shipped quickly and was well packaged. The package included extra screws, nuts and rubber o-rings. There were no instructions but they weren't really needed. Good fit and can be used for left or right hand setup.
