Exactly as Pictured & Described, Very Fast Shipping. The Entire Exterior ( Buck Solo 0379 ) is Very Smooth on All Corners, Edges and Outside surfaces. It has a Very Sharp Blade, which locks well when opened.I use it everyday , very handy , sturdy light weight,I had my old one for several years, lost it and I was lost with out it ! Love God loving message , thank you so much amen ?Under twenty dollars. Not even close to clunky in your pocket. It's a Buck.Sharp!Over the years, I bought several of these knives. I lose them or give them away. They were all well made, but this latest purchase exhibited superior fit and finish workmanship.Older models had "China" on the blade but this one did not have any country of origin on the blade."Made in China" was on the box. Otherwise knife appears well made.Product is everything as advertise.I've been a buck knife fan since I received my first one as a kid. They have maintained their quality over time and I love the fact that they're an American company.I'm skeptical of products made in China. So why did I buy the Solo? Part of it was curiosity and part of it was because I wanted to train some young boys in the local troop on knife safety and get them whittling and wanted to see if these Chinese made knives are worth getting even though the cost is less. The Solo is cheaper than the USA made Buck knives. I want to get quality knives to train with but I also know that boys will be boys and the knives are going to get destroyed; I am hesitant in putting the more expensive Bucks in the boys' hands until they learn to respect what they're given enough to take care of it. Once the boys "graduate", I'll get them a real U.S. made Buck for them to keep - hopefully for the rest of their lives. The Solo is made in China. Not only does it carry Buck's name but Buck stands behind their product with a lifetime warranty. And it shows. The wood, bolsters, and blade are good quality. I'm sure you've experienced how cheaper blades fail to hold an edge, start grinding as you open them over time, start losing their luster sooner, etc. It's obvious that Buck has set some standards for the knives that carry their name. Even if these knives are produced in China, these are not cheap knockoffs. I hate to admit it but these are good knives that are worthy enough to carry the Buck name. That said, I'll only buy the China made knives as trainers. If I'm carrying around a Buck knife or giving one as a gift, it's going to be U.S. made.I have to admit that I grudgingly gave this a five. I don't like the fact that it's made in China, but I have to admit that it's a pretty nice little knife.I use this knife constantly and carry it with me every day. When I do forget it my day is upset; that's how much I need this knife.I have a sharpener that I use often. The metal in this knife does not hold an edge as I would have hoped it would. It sharpens quickly however and is built perfectly. The handle material is top notch as well.It is not easy to find single, small bladed pocket knives that are worth having. This knife is well worth the price.I just read some of the one-star reviews on this knife and will say the following:Yes, the knife is marked with the word China on the base of the blade. The other side of the blade is marked 'BUCK 379' with a copyright mark. The handle has a metal inset marked 'BUCK'.I have used this knife quite some time now and it NEVER had or has any rust on it! Unless Buck makes a better model in the future with this single blade length, I would purchase it again.Update:It is now March of 2015 and I'm still using this knife every day! I sharpen it constantly with a RADA Mfg. Co. Quick Edge Knife Sharpener. These sharpeners are handy, work quickly but will, over time, cause a cupped area in the rear of the blade. If you can live with that, which I can, then this will keep your knife very sharp. As I said, this steel does not hold an edge very long, so quick easy sharpening is my answer to this problem.I also would like to repeat my statement that I would buy this knife again. It is the perfect size for me. Paul SimoneBought pen knife for my elderly father. So he could peel fruit on the go. The knife is very small and tiny about 3 inches when closed but petite and convenient and should do the job.Great knife but the details on the listing is wrong! It does NOT come in a tin gift box, it came in a standard Buck box.Great little knife. Very small but perfect for what I need it forQuesto coltello l’ho preso per un amico collezionista, si trova bene la lama è’ come nella descrizione niente male, per l'uso che ne fa è’ buonoPiccolo ma la giusta misura per portarlo sempre in tasca ben affilato lo porto sempre con me ottimo per svolgere i compiti quotidiani tipo aprire le reti delle rotoballe o i sacco di mangime
