Stripping wires? Check. Ripping up carpet? Check. Opening boxes? You betcha. There are plenty of things you’ll need a utility knife for, and the Husky lockback folding knife is the one to do those things for you. No need to worry about losing this unit. A sturdy metal clip on its side keeps it attached to your pockets or work belts, and its strategically placed lanyard hole keeps it available for twine, keychains, or, well, lanyards. It has simple blade removal mechanics, but it’s sturdy enough that you can be sure they won’t fall out for heavy-duty applications. You’ll be able to keep a grip on this, too. Its aluminum frame is notched, providing a high-friction texture that gives you improved control. If one of your knives has sustained damage on a particularly tough job, don’t worry! There are 3 in this pack, so you’ll have a readily available replacement. Trust a Husky to stay at your side for the toughest jobs.
TEXTURED HANDLE allows for increased friction between the unit and your hand, allowing for greater control, even in slippery conditions
LANYARD LOOP at the base of the handle allows you to keep this on your person when you don’t have enough room in your pockets
TOUGH BELT CLIP on the side of the unit keeps this safe on your pockets or work belt for when you need it most
SAFE DESIGN This blade folds in on itself, so you can keep you and those around you safe when it’s not in use
INCLUDED BLADES 3 disposable blades come with this unit
This multipack of 3 knives is Husky's model 21113... At first I had a major complaint that the blade part did not fold back in completely, and even considered returning it because I thought it was a defect or design flaw, but alas, I kept the knife and I'm sure glad I did....... After using the knife in the field (in the shop and on job sites) , I quickly found that "design flaw" to actually be a feature. To me, it is an asset because it enables the knife to be easily opened when going to use it.. And before you say "oh, well that is dangerous"... listen... I have carried one of these style knives in my pocket every single workday since 2018 and it absolutely WILL NOT open up on you unless you actually intend on opening it! It is indeed quite intimidating at first because even when closed, a small triangular shaped section of the blade is actually exposed, but alas, it is nothing sharp and nothing to be concerned about...The other thing I really like is that the grip is not smooth, it's knurled and it makes for an excellent grip and the blade is easily changed with no tools in less than 10 seconds...If you are someone who must use a razor knife quite often, I can all but guarantee that once you use this model for a couple days, you will come to really like it as did I and many others. The only potential negative about the functionality of this knife is that it does not afford any space for carrying extra blades... This lack of space actually provides the knife its nice and sleek, compact and comfortable feel, and makes it barely noticeable when carrying in your pocket- that is if you prefer it in the pocket as opposed to simply using the knife's built in clip to simply clip it to your pocket or to your belt or the top of your jeans or wherever.......The Husky 21113 Folding Sure-Grip Lock Back Utility Knife is the best razor knife I have ever used and I really hope Husky never ceases production of this model..
